Five Pass PSBNM Examinations |

The Philippine Specialty Board of Nuclear Medicine (PSNMB) conducted the specialty board examinations at the Rizal Medical Center on January 10, 2009. Dr. Irene S. Bandong of the Philippine Heart Center, Drs. Christopher Anthony G. Carbonell, Masoud Mohamed S. Ali Elgadafi, and Marlon V. Fetalvo of St. Luke’s Medical Center, Dr. Morteza Bahrii Iraii of the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, successfully hurdled written and oral examinations that took the whole day. These five physicians have completed 2 – 3 years of training in nuclear medicine. The specialty board examination was given by Dr. Jerry M. Obaldo (chairman), with Dr. Antonio C. Garcia and Dr. Consolacion O. Obmerga who took over from Dr. Evelyn G. Laureta who is on sabbatical leave. The oath-taking ceremonies was held during the PSNM convention on February 6 – 7, 2009 at the Mandarin Oriental Suites, Gateway Mall, Quezon City.
