The Philippine Society of Nuclear Medicine will hold its 23rd Annual Convention with the theme "Emerging Trends in Nuclear Medicine" on February 2, 2008 at the Sea Wind Resort Boracay, Aklan. Preconvention will be on January 30, 2008 at Edsa Shangri-la Hotel. Dr. Myung Chui Lee, the keynote speaker will talk about "Strategic Action for Promotion of Nuclear Medicine in the Next 25 Years". Other international speakers include Dr. Manfred M. Fischer who will talk about two topics, "Diagnosis of Non-Small Cell Lung CA: TC-99M SPECT or PET" and "Bone Metastases: Combined Therapy Using Radionuclides and Chemotherapy", Dr. Ajit K. Padhy who will talk about "Baffling PET-CT Cases", and finally Dr. June Key Chung with the topic "Recent Trends of Radioactive Iodine Usage in the Management of Thyroid Carcinoma".
